We've had plenty of situations where a real good panic was the correct thing to do.

There wasn't much behind the logo except to alter the default phpBB logo. The duck is my duck. Her name is Nautilus. DON'T PANIC was added after some technical problems with the forum. It seemed appropriate at the time. Now it's more of a general suggestion.

6ms should be ideal.

When I was shopping, everything said that sub-12ms was acceptable.

I'm using two dcl lcd monitors with 8ms response times, and I've never seen any ghosting, and the picture is far superior to my crt, believe it or not. It's also been much better for gaming, as a 19 lcd is much bigger screenwise than a 19 crt, which is what I had before. The colors are also much brighter, as is the overall picture. Needless to say, I love 'em.

I've tried spanning different games across both screens, and while it's nice to have so much to look at, the split between the monitors is very distracting, so now I just use one monitor for games. I love having both screens for everything else though. It just makes life so much easier.
