I am trying to play video from websites...like cbs.com...or abc.com....I click on play video and nothing happens...no error message, no nothing...I tried turning off my internet security with no luck....could my router be blocking? I don't get it....

It may be that you don't have the right "codec" for the files listed on those other sites. All video files, even ones that just say .avi are not created equal. Without the right decoder, you may get sound and no video, or nothing or an error. Now, you have to figure out which ONE you need.

Routers generally do not block file types, so I wouldn't worry about that.

Ah. A browser plugin is required for what you were using before Firefox.
