Video cards and 144hz monitors

Post by JohnW » Mon May 08, 2017 4:06 pm

I am looking at upgrading my video card, again. I was looking to get a 27" , 144hz monitor and an NVidia GTX 1060 card with 6 Gb. However, I have read than that many not be enough graphics horsepower to run this monitor at 1440 resolution and that refresh rate.

My question is, ..." Is rF2 that hard on a video card compared to the very popular first person shooters that all the tests seem to be about ?

Hello
I don't think rf 2 is that hard on v card as it shares with the cpu
I have heard great things about the txt but I think it was the 1080 not 1060.

I have been a amd guy for many years now , but now I am looking to upgrade to as my cards are slowing down.

Ruben
