G27 Ques?

Post by Adam Freitas » Mon Feb 12, 2018 7:06 am

I've notice that if you depress both shifters at once it will go to neutral. I try not to but I blew an engine before when I tried to correct a improper shift and accidentally hit them both too close together. Can I fix this in the wheel settings, or is it a personal driving fix I need?

I think there is a setting in the player file. .plr or it might be in your button settings in the game, I can't remember which.

Hello

I have neutral set as a button. But I think the two together is an automatic neutral no matter what buttons are assigned. I will test it. But thanks for the answers.

Yep, you CAN turn off the double paddle into neutral setting. I just have to remember where you do it.

I have the same issue, now that I am using a G27. I found the settings that are SUPPOSED to stop it, in the controller file, but I can still double paddle into N. Not good.

Checking further.

Update: In the player folder is another file called "controller.json". It looks just like the file I edited in the Controllers folder. Change first line under General to false, where it talks about Alternate Neutral with both paddles. I guess , no matter what you have called you wheels settings and saved them, this file over rides things.
