The results of the race in Interlagos have been finalised and there have been no modifications to the results, however two drivers will be penalised in the next round at Hockenheim.

Before we review these incidents and penalties, everyone needs to review the following rule:
28. Drivers who punt an opponent stand a much better chance of avoiding penalty if they wait for the other car to retake its position. If your opponent needs to pit to repair the damage, you should therefore wait until his repairs are complete and allow him to rejoin the track ahead of you, or your sporting gesture may be in vain. The salient point that will be judged upon is that no one should take some one's place illegally. Whenever a car spins off in front of you and you're close enough to that car to think that there might be the slightest possibility that you punted them due to a lag hit, it is your responsibility to stop and wait for that driver to regain the track. Failure to do so will invite penalty by the judging panel.
Dizzo will be sent to the back of the grid after qualifying for the Hockenheim race. This penalty has been incurred due to contact with Merlin, which resulted in Merlin spinning off track and sustaining heavy damage. Dizzo did not attempt to wait for Merlin, nor serve a drive through following the contact. Leniency with regards to the penalty has been granted due to the fact this is Dizzo's first incident in any races he has attended this season.

Denizen will be sent to the back of the grid following qualifying for the Hockenheim race. This penalty is associated with two separate incidents involving JoshJ81.

In first incident on timestamp 1:05, Denizen attempted a pass on Josh, which resulted in Josh being spun. While it appears that Denizen did lose three positions attempting to wait for Josh, he did not fully wait for Josh to retake his position. The second incident on timestamp 19:50, and the primary reason for the penalty, involved Denizen running into the stationary vehicle of JoshJ81 on track, ending both drivers races. The judging panel felt that Denizen did not take proper avoiding action, nor heed the yellow flags, which resulted in avoidable contact with another driver, thus the grid demotion for the following round.
