I will do my best to fill the shoes of my predecessor and accept Sean's offer.

WTF!!!!

You know Sean, you have big shoes to fill. Like you must make sure RBR wins Monaco, guess that is going to be hard since I won't be in an RBR seat this year.

STR for me, please, with J Kim in the other car, if he's so inclined.

Please, either add me to the full list or let me know I'm not on any list.

I'm listed as having somehow managed to gain 13th position last year. I am on the Full time list. How am I now listed as 16th on the Full list?

Please let me know what is going on, I'd like to practice with the right car so as to get used to the placement of the mirrors.

Whatever you guys want, please, just let me know and can I find out if we will be using the same Australian Track listed here:

Thanks, the racing was intense last year, and I hope it will be even better this year.

Josf, I think John uses a points system. A system that takes into account not only your final points standings but tie breakers to award those that participated the most. However, only the season champion is guaranteed 1st pick based on points, the rest is subject to other "stuff". Things such as number of times you started a race, the number of times you actually set a Q time (and how well you did in those Q sessions) and the number of races finished and those positions to name a few things. So, I would assume since you did not race all year or Q when you had the chance, this pushed you down some. We try to give reasons for sticking with our season other than just your position in the standings. Hope this helps?

If you wish to get a ride in a car sooner, I suggest you find out who is next on the list (in this case Tim202 or the next after him should he not pick the next person) and PM him and talk up a good game why they should pick you as teammate. This what John was eluding to earlier, I call it silly season :P

Please don't be sorry on my account. I just want to race and I can obviously be taxing with too many questions. I can find out eventually, and I can practice with the wrong car on the wrong track if that is the way it plays out while things move along toward race day.

I write too much I know that but I do it anyway and here goes again. I just found out something (at least I think I found out something) that was troublesome for me in setting up the car last year. Last year I took weight off the tires that wore out faster, and during a practice run at the 2012 Australian GP track yesterday I tried adding more weight to the tire that wears out faster and as far as I can tell that helps slow down tire wear on that tire. If that is true then all last year I've been moving weight in the wrong direction, as I moved weight off the tires that wore faster. I may be more competitive this year if I can understand better how setups work.

Thanks for helping Sean I appreciate your help, please don't think otherwise despite what my other observations may be. I am certainly not perfect and neither is anyone else.
