Looking forward to this track as i actually know it well. Sadly coming from iracing,f1 2012, And rfactor2 i cant seem to develop a set using those numbers and settings. Sad that no setting from either iracing (actual data and laser scan toyota f1 car) or rfactor2 (better physics, etc) dont translate to the old rfactor. Finding it harder and harder to drive rfactor espcially since almost the whole f1 circuit has been converted over to rf2.

Guys, I will be missing this race and this been by far my favorite track is really depressing. This is one race I look forward to all year.

I may jump on the server for practice one of these nights.

Have fun.

I don't know what happened to me on the restart, after the saftey car got trapped on lap 4 of first start. I was doing 150.8's behind stuff the first few laps on original start. Stuff was pulling away about 1 second a lap, but I was decent. Then on restart, I totally lost focus. I didn't hit under 151's until my second stint. I could hardly keep it on track most of the race. I did make a few adjustments, now that I think about it, right before qual. I'm not sure if those adjustments held on restart, or it loaded my "assigned" setup, which was a slightly different version. Either way, that was my worst race performance in a year, as far as concentrating on driving. Congrats to Stuff on another great performance, and to Jeff. Great 2nd place! I will update points and stats tomorrow morning and post next race and change server over if it hasn't been already.

That was a weird safety car. I think it was stuck on the exit of the secondary pit exit. I think it was pointed the wrong direction. No way to fix that, so we had to restart.

If Tom and Juice were still on the server or Teamspeak, I could have told them to stay and get another shot at the race.

Let's pick a date (Aug 30? ? ) and run Spa again. If enough people are willing, good. If not, the current results would stand. Everybody's practiced already for Spa so they could go ahead and practice for Monza. Then a little break for a race at Spa, then back to practicing for Monza. Thoughts, anyone?

I have no problem running another Spa, but those mulligan races tend to NOT be attended well. It's one of my favorite tracks.

On the first start I got a bunch of wheelspin off the line and went side side with Sean through the first corner, I was able to move in the front on the run down to Eau Rouge and despite a couple bobbles on the opening lap start to inch out a lead. When the safety car came out I saw it heading toward the pit exit at the top of the hill, but then it hit something or got stuck or something. I think we had the same thing happen here a couple years ago.

On the second start I got off the line much better and was able to get away cleanly. After my first stop I came out just behind Jeff and started to wonder if he was one stopping, Tim won the race here last year on a one stopper, so I figured I better try and get by. The problem was Jeff was super fast on the straights and even with a tow I couldn't get very close. After following him for a few laps, I was able to get a good run up the hill and get side by side in the next couple corners, where my newer tires could give me an advantage. Once I got by I was able to slowly build a lead. After that it was pretty quiet and I didn't see many cars, so I just concentrated on putting in clean laps to the finish.

I'm not a huge fan of re-running the race, the guys who missed the restart were out before the safety car incident anyway, so they didn't really lose anything. But I'm pretty biased since I can't hope to improve on my result, and can only do the same or worse :P.

I don't know why we would rerun the race. The guys that were involved in the safety car coming out, were out at the point of restarting anyway. I say no re-run of race. I don't see the point.
