Race started off ok, got passed by Stuff at start. After a few laps I got by and got myself a gap of around 3 seconds. Pitted around lap 15 and came out and was just cruising. Juice lost it on last corners, picked a line and just kept going. Felt like days of thunder, driving through smoke and car parts. :) Then just lost concentration and did a lazy spin and slid into the wall tearing off my LF wheel. Game over. Good season guys, See some of you in rF2. I will update the standings tomorrow sometime.

I hope some of you guys try out the rf2 series that Brandon at USF1 is putting on. It's the Chevy challenge mod, corvettes and Camaros. Starts Dec. 9th I believe. Check out the thread viewtopic.php?f=23&t=4815

I didn't run a Q lap, because it really didn't look like I would gain bu a spot, so it wasn't worth the tire wear. I was just hoping to pick off cars, if the made errors. That worked pretty well. I got all the way up to third, as I had decent tire wear. Then.... as I was coming on the last "straight" was was not sure whether to pit or not. I glanced at my HUD to check the dots and got wide, in the grass, into the wall. I tried to spin it around quick and clipped the front wing off. Luckily, the pit entrance was right ahead. Drove in. 80 seconds later I was back out and a lap down to just about all. I just tried to do laps as best I could and hop to make something out of it.

I'll take a stab at it. I think I remember how it works. I just haven't done it all year !

Kiwi,

The hope is to go with rFactor 2, but I will keep a back-up plan in mind. Probably this mod with a few simple changes. It all depends on what tracks and mods can be found before the start of next season. As for the day of our races.... not sure. I may consider moving the day as well. Unfortunately, it may be worse for you, since you're a day ahead in time zones.

It's all up in the air, for now.
