I was really just using my base setup and optimizing for the tires to get better wear ,before the race. The car felt good enough and my top speed was on par with the guys on the track, including the eventual winner, Glyn Cooper.

Qualified last, when all the fuel was removed, so that was a drag.

Shortly into the race, I as following Jean and he got a bit sloppy in the Degner corners and did a monkey see, monkey do and got wide on the exit of the second Degner , spun and lost my front wing. I put on hards, to try to make up for a stop before lap 10. Some laps later, I went a little wide out of the Dunlop curve and spun on the grass. Didn't hurt the car, but I could see a train of 5 or 6 cars coming up, so I just waited for the top 5 to scream past. I fit into the gap and kept on. Later, I spun again and damaged the front of the car. 40 second pit stop. From then on, I was just trying to watch my lap times and figure out why I would vary by a full second, but the laps felt the same. I think Juice came out of the pits or I got behind him after mine, so I just practiced trying to keep up with him. He has less wing, so he was faster in some places and I was better in the twisty bits. I almost got into him and the hair-pin, under braking, and he got on the throttle a bit too much, leaving and spun and I think he lost his front wing. I parked it after that. I was way behind and did not want to effect his race by chasing him. That was two races in a row that I changed the race out come, so I was not happy about it.

Hi all
Con grates to the top 3 and all who finished.

Qual still slow.

Race: got a good start I think I only lost one position to my team mate, good job Cook.
The first 10 laps where really was racing with Thomas and Sean and others, that was great fun and I was holding my own. Till I went in for new boots and pushed the wrong button and got a penalty :-( , thought it was a drive threw but no it was a stop and go so i drive through twice.
So john i want to report a incident of

Dumb ass syndrome of my own doing :D....

On a better note and this I am really happy about.
With a every session i got more comfortable with my new cockpit and setup dang at then end of the race, i thought hell i feel like I could go another hour. My other one It was tough to race a hour.

Any way cu in Mexico.

Qual was OK not great 4th.

Race: Decent start, was following Rich and Josh. I had Hard Tires, Rich was on Soft and Josh had Medium They would pull away a bit until one of them tried a pass on the other, or made a mistake, then I was right there with them again. Rich spun on the exit of the spoon curve, and I was battling Josh for a few laps and got by and pulled a little gap as I think his tires were shot by then. Glyn pitted from the lead, and I took over and ran a few laps, knowing he was making up 1.5 seconds a lap on me with new tires. He was bout 7 seconds behind me, and pitted around lap 23. My Plan was to make another stop depending on what Glyn did. I ran 17 laps on Mediums, then went to Softs and ran basically qual laps about 9 of the last 13 laps. I calculated my fuel and had JUST enough running the last stint on 2/2 mix/boost (up from 2/1 the most of the race) I was taking time out of Glyn, and got to 1.5 seconds on the last lap closing. I needed 1-3 more laps to actually catch him, but I ran out of fuel about half way from 130R to the chichane and put it in neutral and coasted across the line 12 seconds back of Glyn.
On to Mexico. Just waiting for Brazil..(another favorite of mine)
