2024 Rnd6 Monaco

Post by JohnW »

I got a nice setup from another driver, which felt pretty good. A few very small tweeks to fit my wheel and pedal setup and it was better. I also found I need to adjust the sensitivity in the Fanatec control to make the car change direction faster. That also helped. I may go for even more speed.

What was weird was I was able to pull of a 1:17 with full tanks and no DRS in practice. I was I needed a 1:15.5 to make the 107% rule. With no fuel and soft tires, I couldn't beat that time. I'm not sure what that means, but if anyone has a clue about that, let me know. So, since that was well past the 107%, I stayed off the track and out of the way. NOBODY want's a movinh chicane at Monaco. I can keep it off the wall if I have to have one eye on the mirrors.
