I am about to post our schedule for this year. Tentatively, it looks like all the USA holidays got missed, with the exception of Memorial weekend. It's traditionally a long weekend, as some leave town on the Friday night. F1 does have a race that weekend, but it's not Monaco, this year. It also looks like we may have Bahrain a week earlier than the F1 guys. Call it a "work the bugs out " race, with more time to sort any issues out for Australia.

So, all the races will be on the same weekend and the real thing, except Aussie. edit by JJ81: Oz will be on the same weekend

Here is the tentative schedule:

Do we know more or less when Josh will be releasing the mod? If we're doing Bahrain a week earlier that puts the start of the season only about a month away. A lot of us would like to start practicing as soon as possible so that we can have a chance at keeping up with the fast guys Wink

I think it will be any day. I think it's just down to the new team skins.

If we're waiting for the skins, we might be a week late as some teams may not show their car until Bahrain.

Also I havn't looked at the schedule to see if it's possible, but we should maybe move the Canada race a week late in case some people could or are going to be there.

So, you want to bump it up to Jun 17th ? I have no problems with that. It doesn't hit a holiday I know of.

Just out of curiosity, are we going to be using the new Bahrain layout that F1 is using this year? Or are we using last years layout?

So, we have at least one driver going to the Canadian GP ? I have no issues with bumping the race to June 17th, if no one has a problem with that. Please say so here.

As of right now plan on last year's layout. Not much came about with my talks with CTDP. They said yes to my idea but never gave me what I needed to get started nor said much else afterwords. If they release something with 1 week until the race, I'll update it but I think it would be unfair if we tried to cut it any shorter than that. I switch right away if need but it's up to the rest of the league if you don't mind a last minute change.

What compound of tires are going to be available for Bahrain/each race? Thanks

Same as last year unless there is a change like I just found out today for Australia...Sad

PS just go to any of the 4 tracks from the 2010 download and you will automatically have the tires that will be raced with.

Since I didn't see any complaints, I am going to post the schedule, with the Canadian GP one week later than the real thing.
