Just what mod files do you need ?

Unless you like installing updates, forget the list below. I have taken our F12012 and installed the All-in-One Update in it and zipped it up. This also has the tire plugin in it, but I did not alter the plugin files because your install directory and OS will be different than mine. So, what you need to do is:

1) Install rFactor.
2) Download and unzip this file and copy the contents into the locations in rFactor.
The only download you need
3) Run the tire plugin installer. ( Let me know the date on the fihs.dll file to verify it is the latest one. ) We are not running kers or DRS anymore, so you can delete the DRS/KERS stuff after that.
4) Download the next race track and install it.

Done ! I made a copy of a clean version of rFactor and followed these steps and logged on our server with no errors.

Well, there are a few. We kept updating and working with and without KERS/DRS and then I asked for a small change recently. All of this leads to THIS list of stuff:

I have created a COVER ALL - ALL IN ONE update for all updates so that new guys only (or people that need to do a reinstall) need one download to update the initial install of the 2012 F1 mod. Simply follow the paths to place the files in the correct spot. And remember, this is for only new people to update the initial install, this is not required if you have been driving with us all year and have been keeping up with the mod updates with problems.

The link is disrupted by the ... so i'm just getting a page error. I tried d/l some stuff last night and jumping on the server but got 2 mismatches so I just want to make sure i've got everything i need. THanks!

Hi guys,
I"m new here,I can"t seem to get on the server without a vehicle mismatch and track mismatch.I downloaded the mod,the v2 update and the v3 update like it shows up above and still gives me errors.

Are there any other files I need to download?,

Try installing the "AERO package" from here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4622

I think that will take care of the MM.

That should do it.

you should be getting those overwrite prompts to be sure the files go where they are supposed to go and there are no "nested" folders

Sorry to hear that Scott. There usually is a single download about half way thru season with all the updates incorporated in it. We have just had a lot of changes this season, with Tires and the addition then deletion of KERS and DRS, that's why so many files

Ok, delete any other copy or version of the track that you may have (if you haven't already), also it is best to install the mod, patches, tracks on a fresh instance of rFactor (if you didn't do that). It shouldn't be too hard, I mean there's Josf who also came in mid-season and he is able to run now with no mismatch. I dunno, maybe you just made a mistake in the sequence, which patch goes before what. I wish I could be more help but I might just be adding to the confusion.
