Guys,
If you have the time, I would like some of you to try out the " Only file you need " install, listed at the top of this thread.

I created a clean install of rFactor and got the mod installed and zipped it. It should work fine. I want new people to get up an running as soon as possible. Let me know your results. I did this late last season and I don't know if anyone used this method.

Re: Mod install test
Excellent John! This was all I was going to do as well. Guys, I know it is going to suck if we have to use rF 1 for another season but this is kind of out of our control and there is no need for a new mod as last year's ran really well after the final update. Remember this is only a backup plan, but be aware it is highly likely we will run in rF1 for 2013.

Re: Mod install test
Seemed to work for me on Win7. I ran the FiHSSeup file. I haven't checked yet to see if it creates logs correctly.
