The server is up with last seasons track. Real Road set to a preset of heavy. Race temp is 18c thanks to Weather.com prediction.

I doubt any changes to the track will happen. Unless you think Janos changes the track layout when he adds graphics.

What 3 tire compounds are going to be used for this race? All 5 were available when I practice last night.

That's odd. The tires are normally selected by the track file. I expected to have what we ran last season. Let me check with Janos. He might know if a setting is overiding something.

I've sent messages to the rF2 programming brain trust and have been doing research. I hope to have the tires locked down. If I can't get that in time for Monday night, the compounds will be C1,2, and 3 , just like F1 used last year.

While working on the SRH 2020 track, I noticed that the starting lights are not working on this version. I'll see if I can get it fixed on ours, if not, this is your fair warning hehe.

I don't think I like that " he he " thing at the end.

Update: I have been told by the previously mentioned brain trust that the tire compound issue is due to the name of the track I posted on the server. The tire ini file expects certain names for the track. If it doesn't see that exact one, all tire become available. The track I uploaded is not name exactly right. I understand that the 2018 version of the track has the right name. I'll see if I can dig up that track and change what is on the server AND post a link to the older track. Otherwise, we just do like we did last week and run what I TELL you is allowed !

I've had a re-think. Rather than make changes now, with only 48 hours to the race, I'm going the leave the track up.

Here is the link, if you don't have it from last season.

A word of warning. Between turns 5 and 6 on the run off over the curb,(green asphalt) I hit a invisible wall once during practice. I believe I had the left sides just on the edge of going over the curb, and POW. Only happened once, and I had tried to hit it again a few times, but never did.

Yes, the lights don't work properly.  Janos was on and we tested the lights and they don't come on. But he's updated the track for 2020 and I just tested it and it works. Also the tires are correctly set to C1, C2 and C3.

There is also a new version of the mod: Version 1.0.1 - MAY/10/2020:
- Increased draft effects
- Reduced wet grip for dry tires
- Ferrari helmet texture update
I downloaded and installed both. The track is only 281 MBs but the car is 1.09 GBs.

I think we should at least update the track for tonight's race.

No time to do it.

If I update now, 80% of people won't have the right track and it will be a big mess. The car update isn't big. Some slip stream help and different grip at the rear for wet races.

there is a clock in the hud showing the time left in the session , it will also start at the time the lights finish and the session goes green. there is no need for the lights if you use the hud! have fun!!

Live Racer has Richard W. finishing 4th. I thought he won. What's up?
