2020 F1 Season: Round 7

Monaco

The server is up with last season's Monaco. When Janos puts out this years, I'll swap it, but unless he finds to laser scanned thing, it isn't going to be different in any way.

UPDATE: And back to Monaco !

Get the track AND a new car package below.

Janos has confirmed that Monaco crashes. He believes it's due to the new tire choices. He's digging into it.

I rebooted the server and reloaded the event. Don't know how long it will stay up.

If Janos can't find a quick solution, we may have to push Monaco to our Azerbaijan date slot and skip that location. There just isn't an opening for a while to move it to. I suspect you would rather run Monaco that skip it.

If we have to can't we swap? SRH has already ran Baku.

I give Sean the " Why didn't I think of that ! " award.

We're running Baku on the Monaco date and Monaco on our Baku date. That gives Janos time to trouble shoot Monaco.

Another update:

Janos fixed the issue with Monaco. Do you all want to revert back to that track and return the schedule back to normal ?

I do. It's only been one day and and practice for Baku would not be wasted as it's next race if we go back to schedule. It's still a week away.

I'm fine either way. But I do prefer when we run the track after SRH runs since that gives me a chance to practice with everyone on Tuesdays. And since SRH already ran Baku, I wouldn't mind running Baku first and then Monaco.

Seems like we could run Baku on May 25th and run Monaco on June 1st, which would then be right after SRH at Monaco on May 28th.
In racing, you can only lose time. You cannot "make-up" time.

Maybe biased as hadn't turned a lap yet but I'm good with switching back to Monaco.

The majority that responded chose Monaco

We will all need a new track and car. Here are the links:

Bill's idea sounds pretty good. But I am good either way. These new updates take a whole day out of practice for me.
